Did you discontinue the Hydrating Curl Balm? Its probably the best product I’ve ever used for curly hair and I cant find it anywhere anymore. If it still exists, do you know where I can buy it?

    • August 6, 2012 11:57 am

Yes the Hydrating Curl Balm was discontinued, and as of this moment there is no intention of bringing the product back. We realize the Hydrating Curl Balm was a styling aid and currently we do not have something similar. But we suggest trying our Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner or Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner for frizz fighting soft silky hair.

Boo! While sad, at least I can end the desperate search for it on-line. Shampoo and Conditioner alone will not help curly hair in the humidity, its just not the same… Thanks for the reply.

I bought your Christophe Professional leave in conditioning spray. WASTE of money. I have fine long blonde hair. Can’t get a comb through it after using this product, doesn’t detangle one bit. Not even a little. Doesn’t condition my hair, it’s drying out using this stuff. 8fl oz bottle is going in the trash. Waste of money.

In fact, this stuff feels like I’m basically spraying water on my hair because you have it so watered down. Rip off.

We are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the Cristophe Professional Leave-In-Conditioning spray. We do stand by our products and believe it is an amazing salon quality line at an affordable price, but are disappointed in finding out that you feel the product didn’t work as expected.

Need to bring back Hydrating curl balm. This is the balm and I have tried over 100 products. Please reconsider. Have gotten most of my curly headed girlfriends using this product as a gift from me and now they are looking where to buy it. This is a real good product and things have really changed in curly hair market since 2008.
    Thanks, Karen

She speaks the truth… bring it back!

    • August 15, 2012 11:21 am

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your love of the Hydrating Curl Balm. Everyone’s letters and comments about the product, has started a conversation in the Cristophe office. There is no intention of bringing back the Balm anytime in the near future, but that is not to say it would never make an appearance back in the Cristophe Professional line.

Thanks and have an amazing hair day!

Please please please bring it back or sell the product to a company who can mass produce it. It’s the best I’ve used and I just ran out!

I am also looking for the Shampoo and Conditioner for curly hair, this was the best product Ive ever used! Has this also been discontinued???

    • October 8, 2012 2:15 pm

Debbie: look at this web site. http://www.samsbeauty.com Look under the products and they carry
cristophe but only 4 products. I have ordered and received and yes the price is cheap.
CVS warehouse has some of the products. This is the best info I have to date. Good luck

Thank you Karen for helping Debbie on her search, as we know you are a long time fan of our Curl Defining line as well. Unfortunately Debbie we currently do not have any products curl specific, but are working on bringing it back. Also if you do go to outside retailers for the product, websites we do not endorse as a partner retailer, please note we have no way of ensuring the quality and should not be held responsible for a faulty product.

Thank you and please continue to follow Cristophe to be the one of the first to know when we bring our Curl Defining line back.

The hydrating curl balm was one of the best products I’ve ever used. It makes your hair so soft. You would have plenty of loyal customers if it was brought back. I think it’d be in the company’s best interest to bring it back.
