Walking On Air! New Year, New You Winner Valerie’s Makeover
Our Las Vegas winner of the New Year, New You giveaway waited a few months to get her makeover, because she wanted a fresh new look to show off to her husband. This aspect of her story and the fact she was a hard working mom, and a little lost on what to do with her look made us want have the Cristophe Las Vegas salon get their hands on her!
Here is her winning entry:
A new year. I can’t wait. My husband deployed a few months ago, and he comes home in the spring. I’ve already lost 25 pounds (10 more to go! Woo!), but I don’t really have a new look to surprise him with. I’m a tad unimaginative and self doubting when it comes to that sort of thing, and being home with the kiddos all day probably doesn’t help. Winning would seriously be a dream come true, but even if I don’t, I’ll be greeting this new year with a smile! Ohh, and the Vegas salon would be closest.
We think the salon did a fantastic job keeping with Valerie’s personality and style in her makeover. The before and after pictures are amazing, but it’s really the experience that Valerie had that made us really happy.
I just wanted to let you know how the makeover went. It was amazing! Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel special, and I walked out feeling just fantastic. They were so down to earth, yet professional. Grace did my nails. She was so good! I’ve gotten my nails done a few times, but never saw the point. She officially converted me 
She immediately put me at ease and set the tone for the entire visit. I have completely forgotten the name of the girl who colored my hair, but she was wonderful. It looks so healthy and shiny! She was so nice, and had me laughing the entire time. Campbell cut my hair, and he was just… fantastic. I can’t rave about him enough. He absolutely went above and beyond to make me feel amazing, and did a wonderful job too. The cut is completely different from anything I’ve ever had, but it looks great. I will absolutely be back to see him. I really can’t say enough good things about him and his work. He’s fantabulous! Carolyn did my makeup, and besides making me look stunning, she took the time to answer every question I had, and explain exactly what she was doing, so I could recreate the look at home. She has such a warm personality and took a genuine interest in me as a person, which made the experience that much better. All in all, it was magical. I’ve never had such an incredible experience in my life, and I’m already convincing my husband that I need to go back Thank you all so, so much, this meant the world to me. I’ve been walking on air ever since!
