Ohhh Via Alloro looks so pretty! And I would love to be pampered by Cristophe! I met my boyfriend at a Goldfrappe concert at the Hollywood Bowl. He is one of my best girl friend’s employees! Now we are over a year into our relationship and we have a new “baby” – okay actually a puppy – named Riley.

My current boyfriend and I met early in High School but never really communicated. After a nasty break-up with my former boyfriend, Robert [my current boyfriend] swept me off my feet and was my complete Prince Charming. We have been dating for 4 years now and have a wonderful 2 year old son. I love my two boys and I couldn’t be happier.

I’m enbarrassed & very sad to admit that I don’t have a love story to tell. I haven’t been that lucky to find that special man, my prince charming and I’ve been alone for a very long time. However, since Valentine’s Day is about love, although this is a bit out of the norm 7 perview of this contest, the one person I love the most in the whole world and always will is my mother. So I’d love to enter her as my love story because not only is she the most wonderful and beautiful person one could ever meet, she has always stood by me and my decisions whether she agreed with me or not. She has shown nothing but love & support my entire life, which makes me the most blessed daughter on the face of the earth. I don’t have any particular story to tell because her love is unconditional, and is 24/7. I doubt you’ll accept this submission for this contest but I felt I wanted to enter her anyway because I am so happy, proud and lucky to have the most special love anyone could ever have, the everlasting and unconditional love of a mother.

My better half, Patrick and I met in the darkroom, literally. We’re both photographers and in college, I was in the semester where I had to be in the black and white darkroom ALL day long, so my classmates and I thought we knew everyone, except this guy that worked across the chemicals from me. My friend and I bet eachother to talk to him, I got up the nerve and found out he was just taking classes for fun. I asked if I could photograph him- best pick up line and first date! We’ve been together almost 5 years now, went through college together, model and assist each other; he’s the best.
We originally met 18 years ago at a mutual friends annual Thanksgiving party. Just a few mintues into our introduction he was giving me a foot massage and we ended up going on several dates and having alot of fun together. I was just getting over a breakup and not as ready to settle down as he was so we parted ways. I wondered what happened to him but I felt like a nice guy like him probably got swooped up. 3 years ago he contacted me via Facbook and invited me to sushi at my favorite sushi place. I subsequently found out he picked sushi as the first time he had it was with me all those years ago. As we laughed, drank wine and enjoyed a desert of chocolate fondue at sushi that night he said to me, “why did we break up again?” we both smiled and I said I don’t remember
We are we now happily living together and over last Thanksgiving weekend we adopted a crazy and adorable 8 week old rescue kitten that we named Brie.
Wow this is awesome:)!! My boyfriend and I met in college where we are studying theater. Our first date was to ihop after a performance haha! We are on a budget after all !
While going to college I was a waitress. One of my regular customers was a singer in a band…he invited me to his Cinco De Mayo party. While at the party, I was immediately attracted to the drummer
Well, that’s not who asked me out…it was the keyboard player. After dating him for a few months and continuing to see the drummer at other gigs and parties, the drummer swooped in and started making his ‘move’. Our first kiss was on New Years Eve during a gig and our first date was New Years Day with my mom and my grandma..we watched City Slickers. 6 months later we eloped and this will be our 20th year of being married!

Kim and I met online and started getting to know each other through messages on the site and then texting. After a couple of days of that we decided to meet. We made a plan to meet for lunch but she was getting her brakes worked on and it took several hours longer than they said it would. So I kept her entertained with text messages while we waited to be able to meet. We did finally meet up that evening in her neighborhood and had pizza. Neither one of us wanted to leave after we were done eating so we walked around talking and went for a slice of pie. Later I walked her back to her car and she took my hand. It was (and has remained) magical. We discovered an incredible and deep connection that constantly grows. We are always learning new things from each other and I look forward to each new day with her.
I am 28 years old from Indiana and had a wonderful time two weeks ago with your staff in Vegas. (Thanks again) I had been a stylist for 10 years and this was the first time I had my hair cut anywhere in two years. The whole two days was a first cause i never got to do anything like that!!. I went through a divorce in 2009 when my husband said he was not coming home. I had no clue. I gave birth to our beautiful twin boys Aug 4,2009 While going through everything, my dad had asked me to fly to Florida to stay with him for a few days. Im a small town girl never been in a plane. on my way home I met a man who was so funny and down to earth. he was from Idaho. so finding out about each other on the flight to Indy he asked if I knew who he was …. I said no. he said do you watch racing and I replied “who wants to watch cars go in a circle all day?!?!” The look I will never forget…. we exchanged e mails and so on and I really didn’t believe him however he drives INDY cars. wow. Thank God for GOOGLE!! yes I know. We have been in touch for two years and only 60 miles away from each other and have seen him twice in the last year. He is a busy man. we were talking on feb 13,2012 he said want to go to Vegas with me, he had some meeting about his new driver and hp sponsor poor guy has been working so hard on it. Of course being from Indiana and only been to Florida to visit my dad I thought oh heck why not. I had the time of my life. he took me to eat and to see Motley Creu for my birthday. we was going to some big to do after I had my hair done and my make up and oh them pretty lashes!!I WAS SO PRETTY!!! lets say them yummy drinks you provided me with might have made me fall asleep in the car my last night there driving down the strip. So he took me back to the MGM and I went to sleep. Even though I didn’t do much while in Vegas I HAD A GREAT TIME WITH GOOD COMPANY! I hope I win so then I can ask him to join me “as friends”( I know he will) I guess if i scared him off he still wouldn’t be contacting me unless he is toooo nice.
so to sum this up i met a race car driver of all people on an air plane two years ago, we keep close contact, I know nothing about racing, willing to learn and have a little knowledge now …. and know there is life out there far away from Terre Haute Indiana If I won I would be on cloud nine not only to get him there with me but…. I would get hair and make up done again, I never thought I would get the opportunity to feel as pretty, or fit in the big life as I did Feb 15,2012 ,every time he looks at me I get that sense of belonging that I thought I lost, three years later and a trip to Vegas…… what more can I say “good times, Good friends, great memories”

Of all the people in my life, and that is a lot, she truly deserves to win this . She is not only the best hairdresser EVER, she is the BEST friend anyone cld ever have. She has truly struggled the last 2 and half yrs and still maintained a stable and LOVING enviroment for her children. She wld give her last dollar to stranger if they needed it. That is her character and I truly love her for it! Good luck LELE, U DESERVE IT!
