O Magazine: Trim your hair to grow it out? Is this a scam....

An honest stylist, Cristophe advised the beauty advice guru Valerie Monroe of O magazine regarding a question “What’s the best way to grow out a very short haircut? The answer, best approach to growing out your short hair is to get regular “mini” trims every six weeks.  They were a bit skeptical about the suggestion, feeling it might be fueled by greed. But as Cristophe assured them, these types of trims should not be charged.
